AbyssFX is designed for producers and sound designers who want their reverb to be heard, not hidden. While traditional reverbs aim for realism, AbyssFX embraces character, movement, and transformation.

Built on a custom Dattorro FDN architecture, it delivers everything from organic cinematic depth to total sonic annihilation. When you don't want your reverb to disappear into the mix—you want it to define the sound.

THREE MORPHING ENGINES

AbyssFX features three distinct modes that fundamentally alter the reverb’s DSP behavior:

• RUST (Vintage Saturation): Warm, textured spaces with progressive saturation. Mimics tape-like warmth and lo-fi analog character.
• ABYSS (Deep Space): Clean, vast, and slow-moving. Features deep modulation (up to 125 samples) for cinematic soundscapes and dark ambient textures.
• MAGMA (Destruction Engine): Fast modulation and extreme diffusion. Intentionally creates artifacts and distortion for creative chaos and glitch effects.

CORE FEATURES

PRESSURE: The Macro Control

A single macro that morphs multiple parameters simultaneously. Each morph engine responds differently to Pressure:

• Space expansion & size breathing.
• Modulation depth increase.
• Progressive drive saturation.
• Wet mix boost for instant impact.

HYBRID PITCH FX

Two distinct pitch modes optimized for different sound design tasks:

• Sub-Abyss: Pitch-down engine optimized for adding weight and sub-bass depth.
• Glitch (Shimmer): Parallel architecture for crystalline, ethereal textures.
• Range: -12 to +12 semitones with independent amount control.

CREATIVE DRIVE SYSTEM

Five parallel saturation algorithms for surgical tonal shaping: Analog • Tape • Bit • Fold • Granular

FREEZE FUNCTION

Capture and hold reverb tails infinitely. Transform transients into evolving textures or use it for seamless live transitions.

• Performance: Zero-latency for real-time performance.
• DAWs: Tested in Ableton Live, FL Studio, Reaper, Cubase, and Studio One.
• ⚠️ COMPATIBILITY NOTE: AbyssFX is currently available exclusively for Windows 10/11 (64-bit). A macOS version is not available at this time ⚠️
